    Prototype assembly in progress🔧

Work on our Brayton cycle prototype at IMP PAN is moving forward! The structural frame arrived last month, and nearly all key components are already on site.

The installation process is now advancing quickly, and the system is taking shape in the laboratory. We are currently awaiting the final remaining elements that will allow us to complete the setup and move closer to integration and testing.

It’s exciting to see months of design, calculations, and coordination transforming into a real, physical installation. Step by step, the prototype is becoming a reality. 💡⚙️

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue building and preparing for the next phase of experimental validation. 🚀

    3rd Consortium Meeting 5-6 February 2026

Last week, the ResMe2E consortium met in Warsaw for a productive and engaging project meeting 🤝. With the project now around its midpoint, the discussions became especially dynamic and focused, reflecting the growing maturity of the work and the strong engagement of all partners. The exchanges were highly constructive, helping to review progress, align next steps, and strengthen collaboration across the consortium 💡⚙️.

The meeting took place in Powiśle, an area where a former power plant once operated – an inspiring setting for conversations about the future of sustainable energy systems ♻️⚡🏭.

We would like to thank all project partners for their active participation and valuable contributions, as well as Qenergy for their support and help in organizing the meeting.

  • Insulating the heat exchanger

    Insulating the heat exchanger

We are happy to share that the high-temperature heat exchanger has now been professionally insulated by a specialist company. This is an important preparation step before integrating it into our methanol-fueled Brayton cycle pilot installation within WP4 of the ResMe2E project! 🧑‍🔧
Proper insulation is essential to minimize heat losses and achieve high efficiency targets of our system. 🎯 📈
